| Feature Description: | Kendrick Lamar, rapper from Compton, California is back at the O'Connell Center for the second time in the last two years. In February of 2012, Lamar opened for Drake at the O'Connell Center. This year he returns for Black History Month as the headliner for SGP. He is best known for his platinum-selling song "Swimming Pools" off his 2012 album, "good kid, m.A.A.d. city." Lamar has garnered comparisons to Tupac, Eminem, Nas and Jay-Z. Earlier this year, he performed on an episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Adam Levine. |
