Security Measures
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT OUR VENUE HAS INSTITUTED INCREASED SECURITY MEASURES THAT MAY CAUSE YOU SOME DELAY. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE YOU MAY EXPERIENCE. WE CAN ASSURE YOU THAT YOUR SAFETY IS ALWAYS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN AND WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND COOPERATION.
For the safety and enjoyment of our patrons and staff and in the best interest of the O'Connell Center, the following items are prohibited inside the facility:
- alcohol
- drugs
- weapons
- fireworks / explosives
- laser pointers
- helium balloons
- air horns and noisemakers
- bicycles / roller blades / skates / skateboards
- backpacks / bags / oversize purses *
- still cameras / video cameras / camcorders / audio recording devices*
- thermoses and coolers *
*These and other items may be prohibited for certain events based on show restrictions.
The O'Connell Center reserves the right to inspect all bags and packages entering the building and refuse any item our staff deems harmful, dangerous, or obtrusive. The O'Connell Center also reserves the right to revoke tickets and/or eject patrons in violation of policies and procedures.
Please be advised that in compliance with the Florida Indoor Clean Air Act, smoking is prohibited in the O'Connell Center.
For most events, concession stands are available for our patrons. As such, food and/or beverages brought from the outside are not permitted in the O'Connell Center.
The O'Connell Center has a no re-entry policy during all ticketed events. Any exceptions to this policy must be pre-approved by the Event Operations staff.
Due to the additional time it takes to inspect bags at the door, it may take longer than normal to enter the building. Please anticipate this wait and arrive early.
