The Audience Development Internship provides exposure and hands-on experience in the following areas:

The audience development postition is offered in the summer, fall and spring semesters. It offers a unique atmosphere dealing with students, staff, and University Personnel. The intern works closely with the Box Office & Marketing Manager, as well as the Associate Director in a wide range of daily activities.

“I wasn’t much of a marketing person before this internship; now, the idea of social media posts excites me and contributing to marketing campaigns is one of my favorite tasks. I also learned about the ticketing side of the Dome, including Ticketmaster, how to handle customers, and how our percentage of ticket revenue is calculated. I met industry professionals and was pushed to develop audience engagement.”
