Senior Event Coordinator
The Sr. Event Coordinator position assists the Associate Director (aka Director of Operations) with overall operations of the Stephen C. O’Connell Center at the University of Florida.
Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, staffing and supervising assigned athletic events.
Coordinate the use of the facility for special events as assigned. Coordinate or assist in coordination and supervision of events outside the O’Connell Center.
Coordinate, promote and manage in-house promoted Events.
Assists in supervising and coordinating use of auxiliary spaces including the Brand Center Court Club, indoor pool, gymnastics studio, practice court, Warrington Dance Studio, external entrance areas, leased space, and other support rooms.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise part time staff for one or more of the supervisory level staff programs as assigned. Assists with the training and supervision of the other programs. Staff programs include, but are not limited to, the Building Coordinator, Event Staff, and Changeover divisions. Assists student crews in late night event changeovers as needed.
