Are cameras/recording devices permitted?
Video Cameras and cameras with telescopic or zoom lenses are not permitted inside the O’Connell Center for most events. Please check the event profile for your specific event for more information. What items may I bring into the O’Connell Center with me? 
We ask guests to arrive early and travel light, as you may be subject to search, which may include metal detecting hand wands upon entry. Furthermore, we ask that all unnecessary items not be brought to the O’Connell Center. For a complete list of restricted items, please visit our Security Measures page.

Is smoking permitted within the O’Connell Center? 
In compliance with the Florida Indoor Clean Air Act, there is no smoking permitted in the O’Connell Center. This policy is strictly enforced. Violation of this regulation is grounds for ejection. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. The use of cigarettes or other tobacco products on the UF campus, including in parking lots and vehicles, is not permitted and in violation of UF policy 6C1-2.022. Does the O’Connell Center provide accommodations for the disabled?
The O’Connell Center is fully ADA-compliant. Disabled accommodations are made during the ticket purchase process. Patrons are asked to specify their needs at the point of purchase. Can we bring food and beverages with us to the O’Connell Center?
For most events, outside food and beverage is prohibited from the O’Connell Center; however, there are concessions available once inside. For more specific details, please see the event profile of your particular event or contact Guest Relations at 352-392-5500. Can I bring my child’s stroller to the O’Connell Center?
While we discourage this practice, if necessary, guests may bring strollers to events in the arena. Please understand, however, that these strollers must be collapsible and stored in the inner lobby on the main concourse. Our staff will not guard these items for you. The O’Connell Center is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged strollers. For a complete list of restricted items, please visit our Security Measures page.

Can I bring a sign into the O’Connell Center with me? 
Guests are welcome to bring signs into the facility with them to show their support for their favorite team, player, or entertainer. Signs may not be derogatory in any manner and must not contain foul language. Signs must be hand-held and cannot be mounted on a stick or pole, and they cannot block the view of other guests. Any interference with the enjoyment of another guest’s experience will result in the confiscation of the sign and/or possible ejection from the facility. Where can I park for O’Connell Center events?

How do I obtain backstage passes for an event? 
The O’Connell Center does not have access to backstage passes, and these passes are strictly within the control of the artists’ promoters.

Are there ATMs inside the O’Connell Center?
For your convenience, there is an ATM outside the Gate One Lobby by the ticket office and another ATM inside the Gate One Lobby on the main concourse.

Does the O’Connell Center have a Lost & Found? 
Please contact our Administrative Office at 352-392-5500 to inquire about the possible recovery of any lost items. If you have lost an item while at an event, please speak to any Event Operations personnel for assistance.

Does the O’Connell Center have an elevator? 
For your convenience, the O’Connell Center has an elevator located in the Gate One lobby and one adjacent to the Gate Four lobby that provides access to all three levels of the facility.

If I am a promoter, how do I obtain information about booking my next large event at the O’Connell Center?
