Volleyball Individual Skills Camp

Eligibility
Open to Girls 10 years of age and older.

Session I – Monday, July 10 – Thursday, July 13

For either the novice or the veteran, camp is designed to improve the fundamental skills of volleyball: serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and individual defense. In addition, campers will work on team offensive and defensive systems. Athletes will work in groups of similar age and experience.

UAA Policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers entering 9th grade or higher for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Volleyball High School Team Camp Session I

Session I – Friday, July 14 – Sunday, July 16

Per Camper Cost

  • Resident (UF Housing): $315
  • Commuter: $260

The High School Team Camp is designed for high school teams ONLY, not junior high. Team strategies as opposed to individual skills will be emphasized. Competition amongst other schools takes place during each session. Team camp concludes with an all-camp tournament.

To Attend Team Camp

  • Have a minimum of 8 players and no more than 12 players from your team committed to attending Florida Volleyball Camp this summer.
  • Be a high school team and attend camp with your high school coach.
  • Have your coach send in team application and attach at least 8 player’s name and email address.
  • Florida Volleyball Camp will contact each team member via email with registration information once your school is accepted. Each member of the team attending camp MUST complete our ONLINE by June 9th.

Volleyball Specialty Position Camp

Session III – Tuesday, July 18 – Thursday, July 20

Per Camper Cost
Resident Cost (UF Housing): $365
Commuter Cost: $300

This camp focuses on specialized training and skill development by position. Each athlete must choose from one of the following to train for the entire duration of the camp:

  • Setter
  • Pin Hitter (outside or opposite)
  • Middle Blocker
  • Libero/Defensive Specialist

Campers will have the opportunity to apply skills acquired into competition. Athletes will work in groups of similar age and experience.

Gator Swim Camp Session II

Eligibility
Open to swimmers between 8- and 18-years-old.

Session II – Monday, June 19 – Thursday, June 22

The Session Camp is designed to review the drills, starts, and turns of all four strokes. The drills will then be incorporated into a workout session. Session campers must bring a pair of fins.

Cost: Day: $550; Resident: $750
Ages: 8 – 18 years
Daily Check In: 8:00 AM
Daily Check-Out: 5:00 PM (Last day check-out: 3:00pm)

Day Campers must be signed in and out by an adult (either their parent or someone authorized by their parent) each day.

Gator Swim Elite Camp

Elite Swim Camp
Elite Camp: June 11-23 (2-week camp)

Eligibility  
Open to swimmer of all ages who have completed the 8th grade.

The Elite Camp is designed for the experienced and highly motivated athlete. Campers must be prepared for intense practices. The camp will consist of at least nine water workouts per week along with dryland practices. Campers must bring their equipment bag with a kickboard, pull buoy, and fins. Elite camp is open to all abilities but the campers must be resident campers; therefore they must have completed the 8th grade.

UAA Policy allows participation in overnight/resident camps only for campers entering 9th grade or higher for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Cost: $2,200

Age: 13 – 18 years
Check In: 3:00 PM, June 11
Check-Out: 10:00 AM, June 23
