Gainesville Sports Commission USA Weightlifting Competition

Join us in The Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center as we host the USA Weightlifting 2017 National University and Under 25 Championships! This 4 day event will act as the primary qualification opportunity for the 2017 World University Games in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei!

  • Camera Policy: Small personal cameras are allowed. No professional cameras and NO DETACHABLE LENSES or fixed lenses over 6″. The use of a flash is also prohibited.
  • Video/Audio Recording Policy: Video is allowed.
  • Concession Information: Open at Gate 1. No outside food or drink is permitted.

  • Parking: On Friday, April 7th, parking prior to 3:30pm is available on the 3rd level of the garage and the North lawn of the stadium. After 3:30pm, parking in the O’Connell Center Garage and the west portion of the lot will be first come, first serve. The surface lot will not be available on Friday. On Saturday, On Saturday, April 8th and Sunday, April 9th, parking will be available in the O’Connell Center garage and surface lot. The East portion of the lot is reserved.
