As any coach will tell you, one of the quickest ways to the court is with an elite serve.  No matter your level, a consistent, aggressive serve that scores points is a must for any team’s success.This camp is designed for those players with the basic serving skills but looking to take their game to the next level. Taught will be the advanced serving strategies and techniques used by the Florida Gators.

Florida Gators Volleyball – Specialty Position Camp

Florida Gators Volleyball Specialty Position Camp

This camp focuses on specialized training and skill development by position. Each athlete must choose from one of the following to train for the entire duration of the camp:

  • Setter
  • Pin Hitter 
  • Middle Blocker
  • Libero/Defensive Specialist

Campers will have the opportunity to apply skills acquired into competition. Athletes will work in groups of similar age and experience.

The same drills and techniques used to produce 140 Gator All-American honors will be featured. This camp is designed for those players aspiring to play in college and beyond. Because of the intensity of the training, camp is limited to only 4 on-court sessions and no competitions are scheduled.

Emphasis will be placed on reinforcing basics while using safe progressions to pursue new skills — very similar to what the Gators gymnastics team does every day. Training will include all four competitive events, as well as Tumbl Trak/trampoline, dance, and educational opportunities.

The University of Florida GATOR SWIM CAMPS are developmental camps designed to teach swimmers proper technique and provide quality training to swimmers of ALL abilities between 8 and 18 years old. The camps emphasize technical skills, training habits, and mental preparation as well as the importance of health and fitness in a structured, fun, and enthusiastic Gator environment. Campers will interact with Olympic Gold Medalists, World and NCAA Champions, as well as Olympic and World Championship coaches.
